Magnetite nanoparticles load on graphene layers of aerogels could improve the mechanical properties and broaden electromagnetic interference shielding (EMI) bandwidth. Rapid capacity fading of magnetite anode in lithium-ion batteries (LIBs) leads to assembly of cheap Fe3O4 and graphene as conductive matrix. also, Magnetite could increase surface roughness that alongside of hydrophobic rGO lead to high absorption selectivity of oils.

It has been proven that electrostatic self-assembly is an eco-friendly and facile method for graphene based composites preparation.
